What is Testicular Cancer?

Testicular cancer is the abnormal growth of cells in the testicles or testes. Testicular cancer occurs more frequently in younger men; it is most common in men ages 15 - 40 but may develop at any age. It has one of the highest cure rates of any type of cancer, with an average five year survival rate of 95%.

Treatment may include removal of the affected testicle(s) and any affected lymph nodes, chemotherapy, and/or radiation therapy.
